Description

With breathtaking visuals, fast-paced action, and more multiplayer modes than you can toss a stick at, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) is a promising return to the franchise.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a first-person shooter game released in 2019 by Activision and developed by Infinity Ward. It is the sixteenth entry in the Call of Duty series overall, as well as the relaunch of the Modern Warfare sub-series.

The game is set in a realistic and modern environment. The campaign follows a CIA operative and British SAS soldiers as they join forces with rebels from the fictional country of Urzikstan to fight Russian invaders and Al-Qatala terrorists.

The Special Ops mode of the game includes cooperative play missions that continue the storyline from the campaign. For the first time in the series, the multiplayer mode enables cross-platform multiplayer and cross-platform progression. It's been modified to make the gameplay more tactical and to include new features such as Realism mode.

The single-player campaign in Modern Warfare tends to focus on realism and includes tactically-based moral choices that are evaluated and rewarded with a score at the end of each level; you must quickly determine whether NPCs are a threat or not.

This threat rating, often known as a collateral damage score, is based on how many civilians you harm or kill, and it goes from A to F. Those who achieve higher scores are rewarded. Depending on the choices you make throughout the game, the character dialogue will change.

You can use a sniper rifle in a large setting to engage objectives in a non-linear manner, and you can choose to blast out lights instead of utilizing night-vision goggles during breaching.

The multiplayer in Modern Warfare has been updated from its previous games to allow for a more tactical gaming style, with a focus on map exploration, door breaching, and a Hardcore "Realism" option that disables the HUD completely.

Killstreaks, which are rewards based on kills, are also back in multiplayer, after being replaced by Scorestreaks in recent Call of Duty games. Killstreaks, on the other hand, can be converted to Scorestreaks by using the "Pointman" in-game perk.

The online modes include more players per map than previous games, with a new mode called "Ground War" allowing for over 100 players, and another new mode called "Gunfight" placing two teams of two players against each other in tiny matches of forty seconds each round.

The game has a deep weapon customization system, with most guns offering up to 60 attachments to pick from, with only five of them being equipped at any given time.

Since Call of Duty: Ghosts in 2013, Modern Warfare has been the first game in the series to not have a Zombies mode, instead of going for the cooperative "Special Ops" mode.

Both the campaign and multiplayer in Spec Ops share the same story. Classic Special Ops, which includes lesser scale missions similar to the original Spec Ops mode, and four major Operations, which are multi-objective missions that take place on a vast open map and require necessary 4-player cooperation.

How to play

The multiplayer options in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare are undoubtedly the most popular, with players spending hours on them.

It might be a huge difference from the single-player experience in Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare for people who are new to multiplayer. Even if you've racked up insane kill streaks in past games, there are a few tiny tweaks in this one that may throw you off.

These tips will assist you in mastering it.

● Discover Your Playing Style

This may sound self-evident, but so many players never get around to it or try to change themselves into something they feel obligated to do in order to improve. Because everyone is proficient with different weapons, has different temperaments, and has diverse personalities, everyone has their own playstyle.

Find a way to make shotguns more effective if you love using them. Don't become a sniper just because someone suggested it. You'll do significantly better if you're doing something you enjoy rather than what's required of you.

● Pick Lower Killstreaks

This is particularly useful if you're just getting started. The Chopper Gunner is a great ability that may be quite useful, but if you just have a few killstreaks each life, you'll never activate it and become a burden for your squad.

Reduce the killstreak reward to something more attainable, such as a UAV, if you're having trouble or it's simply not your round. It may not be as spectacular or powerful as greater killstreak awards, but you'll be able to utilize it more frequently and become a much more vital member of your squad as a result.

● Make Adjustments To The Settings

As you become more familiar with the game mechanics and gunfights, you should begin to change a couple of the settings to make them more convenient for you. Although the default settings aren't horrible, everyone may benefit from tweaking the aiming sensitivity or repositioning a few buttons.

Don't go crazy, and make the adjustments slowly, but with the correct modifications, you may have a configuration that's ideal for you and your needs, and that will help you develop your skills.

● Pay Attention and Listen

You should really consider changing your audio settings. Many pros prefer to remove the music and bright noises, leaving only the essentials.

This is done so that footsteps and gunshots may be heard more easily. Footsteps can warn you of approaching enemies and their positions, while shooting can reveal what weapon they're using and where snipers may be hiding. A nice pair of headphones, at the absolute least, will help.

● Make the Most of Your Equipment

It's a terrible shame when a player's body falls down with valuable items like grenades and molotovs left on them. It's tempting to save them for later, but chances are you've been waiting far too long, and your cooling corpse is a solid indicator that you could have used them sooner.

It's far preferable to waste anything than to die with it on you and lose it anyhow, so don't be afraid to grenade enemies, drop a Molotov to cover your escape and utilize those gadgets when you have half a cause to.
